Busted Down Bus

Busted down bus.

Running in rubber bands and chewing gum.

Still running smoothly at twenty-five miles an hour.

 Rusty, beat up from history.

Still running just fine at twenty-five miles an hour.

If you ride inside you feel like home.

Seats covered in colorful new buys.

Inside the roof is poorly painted to represent the night sky.

Busted down bus.

Carrying you to some place else running at twenty-five miles per hour.

Bouncing at every bump in the road.

Busted down bus.

More then you plan you stop for water or a new rubber band.

Busted down bus has unplanned maintenance.

But after time you expect it.

Busted down bus.

Running smoothly at twenty-five miles an hour.

Expecting a break down, you find comfort when it’s a smooth ride.

Running smoothly at Twenty-five miles an hour.

Sitting in the captains chair the world speeds by at times.

When moving, you are running smoothly at twenty-five miles an hour.

Busted down bus.

Still running smoothly at twenty-five miles an hour.

. Watching out the cloudy window, you watch your travel.

Some of life races by and others form memories.

Busted down bus.

Can’t speed at thirty-five any more.

Running on faith and experience.

Speeding at thirty-five miles per hour only last a mile or less.

But running smoothly at twenty-five, you’ll arrive.

Busted down bus.
