Background:
The AT&T home security system central controller is not very sophisticated when compared to today's electronic devices but it does have the ability to provide status information on the install system.
Information is provided via the small, display window and also via tones or beeps emitted.
Meaning of CC beeps:
"Trouble" is usually a low battery in some universal transmitter.
"4 short beeps" when you try to arm the system means that at least one sensor is not secure.
"Not secure" can mean that the case is slightly open on a universal transmitter or keypad.
"Not secure" can mean that there is not alignment between the reed switch and magnet on some door or window.
