"Just a Dam Fine Day to Be Alive"

11 October 2005

He walks along

headed nowhere in particular

and that is just all right with him

cause he knows he is here

and no place else.

His eyes overloading his mind

with all he sees,

his ears

becoming untied

from all the foreign tongues.

The air,

the light,

the meaningless of time,

he really not sure

it all not some dream.

Sweet, oh sweet life.

Just one damn fine day to be alive.
