This screen is used to enter information about an investment. All fields and command buttons are smart in that they are only enabled when specific criteria is met by data entry
This screen is used to define the parameters of a stock swap transaction. This information is provided by your brokerage house. Once stock swap information has been entered, the ICBM application automatically applies the swap definition to applicable stored data and creates acquire transactions for the new stock.
This screen takes user estimates of future ROI and expected additional purchases to allow the ICBM generate a report of estimated future portfolio worth. "Special Analysis" runs a Monte Carlo report where various user inputs are changed randomly by ICBM to provide a range of possible future portfolio worth.
This screen accepts the definition of a stock merger transaction. The information needed by this function is provided by your brokerage company. Once all definition fields have been entered and validity checked by ICBM, this function automatically updates stored transactions as well as making entries into investment history databases.
This screen allows a user to enter potential sale information and have the ICBM application determine the best Internal Revenue Service (IRS) cost basis method to use at reporting sale time.
This is the main screen for entering information about any "acquire" transaction. "Acquire" includes: purchase, reinvested dividends, reinvested capital gains distributions, inherited, etc. From this screen, a user can quickly see all stored acquire transactions for an investment as well as enter new transactions. This screen also handles "gifting."
