“Tivo – Desktop Software and Email”
From the main menu of Tivo
Desktop version 2.3a, if you select “Server” and then “Tivo Server properties”
from the drop down menu, you will be presented with a screen with multiple tabs
along the top.
One of the tabs will be
“performance.”
I do not know what the
default setting for “performance” is when Tivo Desktop version 2.3a is
installed but I have discovered that if I move the performance slider bar
beyond “Medium High” to “High”, my email gets severely affected, to the point
that I can not receive email at all!
