"Amana SZD20MPE Refrigerator - Wiring Schematic"

Summary: the wiring diagram/schematic for the Amana SZD20MPE is attached to the back of the refrigerator but is difficult to remove. Below is a digital picture of the wiring schematic.

Background:

To even begin to contemplate a do-it-yourself (DIY) diagnosis and repair of any electrical device, you need an accurate wiring diagram/schematic.

In the case of the Amana SZD20MPE this diagram is located on the back of the refrigerator, which is fine but tough to refer to in trouble shooting.

The wiring diagram/schematic is not in the user manual that came with the Amana SZD20MPE nor is it on Amana's website.

As the diagram on the back of the Amana SZD20MPE is difficult to remove, I took a high resolution digital picture and have posted it here.

Which component or components is causing your current Amana SZD20MPE problem depends on the problem you are having but could be: defrost timer; defrost thermostat; defrost heater; freezer thermostat; compressor PTC relay; overload sensor; evaporator fan; condenser fan motor or the run capacitor.
